Setting up a Debugging Environment for Azure Functions 2.x using VS Code using Visual Studio (VS) Code. This tutorial assumes that you have a working understanding of Azure Functions and VS Code. The following steps help create a stand-alone virtual environment where you can independently debug function apps separate from your other function app development environments. The steps are below: download source code of the latest release of the Azure Functions Host’s latest production release. Use the dotnet core 2.2.0.12888.0/12888.
